Tamale, Ghana – Adorable Ghanaian media personality, Kofi Okyere Darko known in showbiz as KOD has endorsed the National Democratic Congress Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama as Ghana’s obvious choice in the December polls.
According to KOD, Mr. Mahama has the interest of Ghanaian youth at heart, an important factor that has influenced his decision to support the the former president.
Mr. Okyere Darko made the endorsement when he took his turn to address thousands of ecstatic NDC supporters at the Northern Regional capital of Tamale where the party launched its campaign on Saturday.
The media personality said, “I endorse President Mahama because he embodies the leadership and vision our country needs. He truly has the youth of this country at heart. I believe in him because he’s a leader who accepts when he’s at fault and makes an effort to rectify the situation. I have no doubt that John Mahama’s 24-hour economy plan will create decent jobs for the youth in all sectors, including the creative arts and hospitality sectors.”
KOD’s endorsement adds up to a chunk of celebrities who have publicly declared their support for the NDC flagbearer ahead of the December 7, 2024 crucial elections.
