Local Government Minister Embarks on 2-Day Tour

Kumasi, Ashanti – The Minister for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah has kicked off  a 2-day tour of Ashanti Region today. The tour aims to assess the progress of various development projects and engage with local communities.

According to a statement from the minister’s office, the tour will focus on inspecting infrastructure development, meeting with local officials, and listening to the concerns of residents. The minister will visit several municipalities, including Obuasi and Kwabre East Municipalities.

The tour is part of the minister’s efforts to strengthen local governance and ensure the effective implementation of government programs. “This tour will allow the Minister to see firsthand the impact of government initiatives and identify areas for improvement,” a ministry’s spokesperson said.

The minister will be accompanied by a team of officials from the local government department and other relevant stakeholders. The tour is expected to conclude on on Tuesday with a press conference to share findings and announcements.
