Date: June 28, 2024

[City], USA – A U.S. court has sentenced socialite and celebrity, Montrage Faiz, popularly known as Hajia4Reall, to 12 months and an additional day in prison for her involvement in a lucrative internet scam.

Ms, Faiz also known in public life as Mona 4Reall, pleaded guilty to charges of romance scamming and money laundering, defrauding numerous victims of thousands of dollars. The court heard that Hajia4Reall used her online presence to target vulnerable individuals, building fake relationships and convincing them to send money.

The prosecution argued that She used the proceeds to fund a lavish lifestyle, while the victims suffered financial and emotional harm. The court rejected Hajia4Reall’s plea for a lighter sentence, citing the severity of the crimes and the need for accountability.

Hajia 4Reall, in one case, allegedly duped a victim into sending her $89,000 through 82 wire transfers on the pretext of helping her father’s farm in Ghana, the court documents claim.

She was arrested in the United Kingdom in 2022 and extradited to the United States in 2023. Mona 4Reall pleaded guilty to the charges in February 2024. Her lawyers requested a three-month sentence due to her status as a single mother, whiles the U.S. Attorney’s Office requested a 37-month term.

She will serve the full 12-month and an additional day term, with no possibility of early release. – Her sentencing did not include time in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody, so she will be released directly to a flight to Ghana at the end of her term. ‎The sentence sends a strong message to those engaging in online fraud and exploitation
