Showboy, who is spending over 15 years in jail, has reacted to the current trend of Ghanaian celebrities being arrested and prosecuted.
The United States based Ghanaian entertainment critic called Shatta Wale, Medikal and other celebrities dumb for taking their freedom for granted.
According to the 2HypeGeng Record Label boss, Ghanaian celebrities think it is chic to have a criminal record so they are misbehaving just to go spend some time in prison.
Showboy said people like Shatta Wale forcing prison time on themselves are fools because they do not realize the liberty they have roaming free outside bars.
“See how Shatta Wale is forcing prison time on himself smh. This n**ga fool… all to promote an Album that go take 72 hours fade off.. Ghana gunsta no be gunsta ooh.. u have ur freedom and u dey take joke eii.. wagyimi paa ooh”, Showboy wrote on his social media page.
Shatta Wale was remanded to one week in prison by An Accra Circuit Court yesterday after claiming that he had been shot and was in critical condition the previous day.
When the Police were escorting the musician out of the court yard, he was heard screaming at the top of his voice that he wants to spend the rest of his life in Prison.
